Mrs. Janice Philpot Young, 59, of Brantley, AL, passed away, Sunday, January 24, 2021.

Born June 19, 1961, in Atlanta, daughter of the late William Philpot and the late Joyce Melton Philpot. Janice was a passionate biker, who had a wild heart.

Survivors include her husband, Leroy "Doc" Dorvee; children, Joyce "Puddin" Reed (Tim), Jerry "J. R." Robertson, Donald Young, Tanis Dorvee and Tyson Dorvee; sister, Donna "Lu Lu" Whidby; brothers, Terry Philpot (Michelle) and Danny Philpot; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 6, 2021, at Hillcrest Chapel. Friends may visit the family one hour prior to service on Saturday at the funeral home.
