James "Jimmy" Maxwell Jr., 59, of Stockbridge left his physical body behind on May 25, 2022 to sit by God's side.

Born January 26, 1963, in Queens, New York, Jimmy was the son of Nelsy Mathieu, the husband of Leigh Hardy Maxwell, and the beloved Daddy of Apollo Dream Maxwell. He loved his son more than anything else on Earth, and being an amazing father came naturally to him. He worked hard every hour of every day to support his family and make them proud.

Jimmy was always the life of every party and had a joyous and exuberant spirit that infected those around him. Whether he was going by "Uncle Jimmy", "Candyman", or "Coach Jimmy", there was no limit to the things Jimmy would do to make sure his loved ones were cared for and had the things they needed. He enjoyed all the finest things in life and spent his free time camping, working out, coaching his son's soccer team, and playing Fortnite trios with his wife and son.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at Hillcrest Chapel.
