Mr. James Thomas Hall, Jr., 82, of Sharpsburg, widower of the late Ann McBurnett Hall, died Monday, April 13, 2020 at Country Gardens Personal Care Home in Union City.

Born January 3, 1938 in Colorado, Texas, he was a son of the late James T. Hall, Sr. and the late Jo Nelle Anderson Hall.  Mr. Hall served our country as a member of the Unites States Army National Guard and the Army Reserves.  He was of the Baptist Faith and was retired from US Air.  In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Cheri Lynn Hall, and his brother, Kenny Hall.

Survivors include his daughter, Cynthia A. Shride (David) of Sharpsburg; son, James Andrew Hall of Virginia; sister, Carolyn Barnes of Texas; grandchildren, Joshua David Shride, Chelsey Ann Shride, and Anna Hall Phillips; and great-grandchildren, Isaac David Shride, Paisley Kay Shride, and Emily Ann Shride.

The family will hold a memorial service at a later date after the current pandemic subsides.
