James "Jim" Douglas Shoemake, 59, of Newnan, passed away Friday morning, May 30, 2025.

Jim's hobbies included baseball, golf and playing the drums from a young age. He also loved cooking and creating new recipes. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He his preceded in death by his nephew, Austin Shoemake; brothers, Randall and Perry Shoemake; and father, Douglas Shoemake.

Survivors include his mother, Mary Shoemake; daughters, Olivia Belmont (Robert) & Madison Shoemake; sister, Angela Sinclair; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 6, 2025, at McDonough Christian Church, 2000 Jonesboro Road, McDonough, GA 30253
