James Thomas Coggin, 60, of Marietta, formerly of Newnan, passed away, on Thursday, January 4, 2024.

Born on February 8, 1963, in Newnan, to the late George Howard Coggin and Sara Ruth Young Coggin. He enjoyed going to watch the Atlanta Braves play and spending time with his dog, Zoe. He is survived by his sister, Rebecca Gipson; nephews, James Gipson (Leslie) and Thomas Gipson; and nieces, Sara Gipson and Desire' Jones.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 3, 2024 with Joe Strickland officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Saturday.
