Mr. James Leon Cargle, Sr., 55, of Franklin, passed away on Friday, October 22, 2021, at his residence.

Born November 22, 1965, in Atlanta, son of the late James Harold Cargle and the late Gloria Medley Cargle.

He is survived by daughters, Elizabeth Cargle and Cheyenne Phillips (Jarrett Pike); sons, James Leon Cargle, Jr. (Jessica), Jonathan Cargle and Tyler Thompkinson (Marissa); grandchildren, Jaydon Williams, Jamie Cargle, Noah Rice, Alison Cargle, Braden Thompkinson, Bentley Thompkinson, Greyson Cameron, Ava Pike, Levi Cameron, Adilynn Thompkinson, Braxton Smith, Raelynn Thompkinson and Ivy Morgan; and sisters, Angie Bryan (David) and Kim Cargle.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 28, 2021, at New Hope Baptist Church in Franklin with Pastor David Bryan officiating.  The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service on Thursday at the church.
