Obituary

Jack Fuller Hughes, passed away on January 18, 2025 at the age of 70, in Newnan.

Jack was born in Charleston, SC on June 24, 1954.  He was a proud veteran, serving over 20 years in the USAF. He was very dedicated to his work and enjoyed his various assignments, to include overseas positions. He was honored to be chosen to serve on the full-time staff at Camp David, Maryland supporting President Reagan. It was the highlight of his career. He went on to utilize his skills at the Federal Aviation Administration for a few more years prior to his final retirement.

Jack's hobbies included going on "High-Adventures" (traveling), photography, and his favorite, spending time with his daughter and grandchildren. He attended Grace Baptist Church in Newnan and was a member of their Men's group.

Jack was predeceased by his father, Samuel Warner Hughes, his mother, Beatrice Brownlee Hughes, and a brother, Jerry Hughes. He leaves behind a loving daughter, Kimberly Hughes Nolan (William Matthew), three grandchildren, Maggie Breedon, William Nolan II, and Willow Nolan, all of which live in Newnan, GA., along with a brother, James Hughes of Cherokee, North Carolina.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Grace Baptist Church, in Newnan.
