Glenn Leon Green, 93, of Senoia, GA, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2025 in Senoia.
Glenn was born on October 25, 1932, in Dawsonville, GA. He lived a long life marked by hard work, faith, service to others, and love for his family. In his early years, Glenn proudly served his country in the United States military during the Korean War. Following his service, he built a dedicated career with Delta Air Lines, where he worked faithfully for 29 years before retiring at the age of 59. Never one to sit still, Glenn went on to begin a second career in the grading and clearing business, working with and serving the cities of Newnan and Senoia. He believed in the value of honest labor and was known for his strong work ethic. Glenn was a devoted Christian man and a longtime member of East Newnan Baptist Church. He served as a deacon and teacher for many years, faithfully sharing his faith and helping guide others. His life reflected his beliefs, and he was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. In his free time, Glenn enjoyed traveling and taking long car rides, especially when they allowed him to explore places rich with history. He had a deep appreciation for the past, valued a hard day's work, and found joy in simple, meaningful moments. Glenn was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Betty W. Green; son, Ricky Glenn Green; and brothers, Lloyd Green and Tiras Green.
He is survived by his loving family; daughters, Patricia Hays, Sheila Green Bearden (Richard), and Lisa Coopland (Mike); sons, Danny Green (Leigh Ann) and Charles Green (Kim); grandchildren, Brandon Green, Melissa Innis, Jennifer Green, Tracie Longoria, Courtney Dixon, Megan Dixon, Lindsay Loftin, Matthew Coopland, Johnathan Green, Brittni Wolber, Tammy Hardy, David Clifton, and Railey Nash; numerous great grandchildren; brothers and sisters; Jerry Green, Jimmy Green, Tony Green, Jackie Lovell, Hanie Jenkins, and Peggy Hill.
His family will forever cherish his memory and carry forward the values he lived by. A life well lived, Glenn Leon Green will be remembered for his faith in God, dedication, kindness, and unwavering commitment to family, church, and community.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at Hillcrest Chapel with Reverend Frank Powers officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, with military honors. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home, on Tuesday.
