Mrs. Geneva Boyd, 78, of Whitesburg, widow of the late Thomas Ralph Boyd, died Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.

Born July 25, 1946, in Newnan, she was a daughter of the late Cecil Alvin Boatright and the late Ressie Iola McElwaney Boatright. Mrs. Boyd enjoyed fishing and traveling, especially to the beach. She also enjoyed farming. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Barney Cecil Boatright; nephew, Joseph "Joey" Boatright, and nieces, Lisa Ann Boatright and Patty Boatright.

Survivors include her sons, Steven Boyd and Kevin Boyd (Misty); grandchildren, Hayley Stovall, Nolan Richar Stovall, and Raygan Wooten; niece, Angie Boatright; and nephew, Douglas Boatright.
