Gary Albert Loze, 84, of Newnan, died Friday, June 6, 2025, at his residence.

Born March 12, 1941, he was a son of the late Albert Andrew Loze and the late Anna Mae Otting Loze. Mr. Loze possessed a profound love for working with his hands, dedicating many years to the craft of tool and die making. His passions extended beyond his profession, as he found immense joy in building intricate model rockets and boats and amassing a delightful collection of toys of all kinds. His heart soared with a love for airplanes, and he proudly held a license to pilot single-engine aircraft. Gary also found solace in the simple pleasure of watching television. Above all, he was a devoted family man, who held his beloved wife, children, and grandchildren close to his heart.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Hazel Jean Loze; daughters, Valerie Shelton (Bryant), and Victoria Lanier (Stephan); sons, Ronald Loze, Robert Loze, and Daniel Loze; sister, Geneva Doss and her children, Regina Cusimano, and Dean Doss; grandchildren, Tony Sanchez, Veronica Barillas, Angelina Sanchez, Matthews Eikenberry, Joshua Lanier, and Jacob Lanier; 11 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren

A memorial service for both Gary and Hazel will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 11, 2025 at Hillcrest Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
