Gail Abbott, 84, of Newnan, passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at her residence.

Born March 27, 1940, in Etowah, TN, she was a daughter of the late Paul Cook and the late Edith Cook. Gail graduated from Elizabethton High School in 1957 and went on to graduate from Dell School of Medical Technology in 1959. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society and the Black Hat Society. She was a member of Hopewell Presbyterian Church in Dandridge, TN, since 2005. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Charles Abbott.

Survivors include her son, Daniel Paul Abbott and his wife Renee Abbott; granddaughter, Hanna Dadras all of Alvaton, GA.

A private family service will be held at Hopewell Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Dandridge, TN, at a later date.
