Mr. Fredric Lee Hand, 86, of Moreland, passed away on Friday, December 17, 2021, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.

Born February 6, 1935, in Moreland, son of the late Joseph Benjamin Hand and the late Curtis Drake Hand. Lee retired from James Rivers where he worked in the printing department for 35 years. He also built houses and did carpentry work on the side for many years. He was an active longtime member of Mills Chapel Baptist Church in Newnan, where he enjoyed teaching Sunday school for 45 years. He was also preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Eva Hand of Moreland; stepchildren, Roger Bentley (Donna) of Jackson and Debra Bentley of Union City; nephews and nieces, Allen, Adam, Andy, Barbara, Debbie and Diane.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at Hillcrest Chapel with Pastor Cleve Moore officiating. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
