Francis "Eldon"
Lillibridge, Jr.
August 1, 1950 – January 4, 2026
Francis "Eldon" Lillibridge, Jr., a cherished soul known for his creativity and adventurous spirit, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at the age of 75, in Newnan. He was born on August 1, 1950, in Coshocton, OH, to the late Francis Eldon Lillibridge, Sr. and the late Mildred Elizabeth Harris Lillibridge. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Stacey Ann Elmore, and sisters, Barbara Gail Barker and Peggy Elaine Murdock.
Survivors include his loving wife, Sandra Crumpton; son, Nickolas Lillibridge; daughters Narada and Kalinda; 5 grandchildren; sisters, Deborah Lillibridge and Joann Hightower; and brother, Michael Lillibridge (Rhonda). Eldon was a man whose hands could skillfully bring any vision to life, be it through the homes he built, the gardens he cultivated, or the art he created. His craftsmanship was a testament to his attention to detail and his commitment to excellence. Eldon attended New Lebanon Baptist Church with his wife, Sandra. He was a spiritual man, always seeking the answers to God's mysteries. Artistry was Eldon's second nature. He expressed his creativity through drawing, painting, and the intricate beauty of his stained glass windows and pieces. Each work of art he produced was a window into his soul, vibrant with color and alive with imagination. Eldon's creativity was not confined to visual arts; he also found joy in music, which was an essential part of his life. An outdoorsman at heart, Eldon embraced the beauty of nature with enthusiasm. His hands, so adept at construction and art, also tended to a lush vegetable and flower garden, a testament to his love for the earth's bounty. Younger years saw him riding the waves and the open road with a passion for surfing and motorcycles, adventures that echoed his free spirit.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 12, 2026 at Hillcrest Chapel with Pastor Paul Dennis officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
