Floyd Benson
Fuller
December 20, 1946 — October 31, 2026
Newnan
Floyd Benson Fuller, 79, of Newnan, died on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.
Born December 20, 1946 in Atlanta, he was a son of the late Milton Fuller and the late Doris Irene Vandergriff Fuller. Floyd lived a life marked by steady work, simple pleasures, and enduring interests. He retired as a pressman with the Ivan Allen Company in Atlanta, a role that reflected a strong work ethic and a faithful commitment over the years. Away from work, Floyd found happiness in the outdoors and in the pursuits that captured his imagination. He loved to hunt and fish, and those pastimes remained part of the rhythm of his life. He also enjoyed reading about African safaris, guns, and shooting, interests that spoke to his curiosity and appreciation for adventure, skill, and tradition. In his younger years, some of his most meaningful time was spent with his grandfather on the family farm in South Georgia, where the land, the seasons, and family companionship helped shape lasting memories. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Stacy Fuller.
Survivors include his children, Russell Stacy Fuller, Robert Fuller, Sara Bledsoe, and Lisa Dennis; grandchildren, Stacy Fuller, Dylan Fuller, Russell Dennis, Ashley Yates, Kayla Johnson, Travis Fuller, Austin Fuller, Dalton Fuller, and Lilly Russell; and great-grandchildren, Emory Fuller, Memphis Fuller, Wyatt Fuller, Dalton Fuller, Bodey Fuller, Kaisley Fuller, Easton Fuller, Bryan Dennis, Ayden Yates, Avery Yates, Sydney Dennis, and Lynex Dennis.
The family will hold a private service at a later date.
