Mr. Floyd Everette Cheeves, 83, of Milledgeville, died Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at Navicent Medical Center in Milledgeville.

Born March 27, 1938, in Villa Rica, GA, son of the late Nomie E. Hendrix Cheeves and the late Henry Lee Cheeves. He was a veteran of the US Marine Corp. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Sally Nicholson Cheeves; son, Jason E. Cheeves; and sister, Patricia Wilson.

Survivors include his daughter, Lynn Coleman (Ned); grandchildren, Tony Stapleton (Jessica) and Chris Cheeves; great grandchild, Cayden Stapleton; sister, Linda Brown (Stanley); brother, Donnie Cheeves; daughter-in-law, Rachel Cheeves; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at the graveside, in Forest Lawn Memorial Park at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 14, 2021, with Pastor Thomas Ward officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
