Ethan Reed Cano, 15, of Franklin, died Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at his residence.

Born on February 10, 2010, Ethan Reed Cano lived a long 15 years of life with an array of critical medical issues, yet he was strong and enduring with courage to never give up. He liked to hold hands, cuddle, and had a smile so big and bright, and blue eyes that took your breath away. He liked Alabama football, western movies, country singer Alan Jackson, mountains, ocean, waterfalls, Ark Encounter and many more things .... Yet his life ended on Veterans Day, he decided to be that strong soldier in heaven above. He was preceded in death by his brother, Josiah Orion Bell, and grandparents, Alice Bell and Johnny Bell.

Survivors include his mother, Starr Ann Bell; father, Tomas William Cano; grandmother, Brenda Acevedo; stepfather, Larry Burns; aunts, Tammy Bell, and Roxie Acevedo; great aunt, Elizabeth Gaddy; uncles, Richard, Rodney, Robin, and Ryan; and many cousins and great cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at Hillcrest Chapel with Pastor Mike Schneider officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home on Wednesday. The family will hold a graveside service at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 20, 2025 in Luthersville City Cemetery.
