Emma Lou Robinson Booth, 88, widow of the late Albert Robinson and the late Clarence Booth, peacefully departed this life on May 6, 2026, at the Wellstar West Georgia Hospice.
Born on July 3, 1937, in Carrollton, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Edgar Hanson and the late Annie Windom Hanson. A God-fearing woman who embraced her Baptist faith with unwavering conviction, Emma found profound strength and joy in her spiritual walk. Her voice, filled with grace and warmth, echoed through the church as she sang in the choir. She was renowned for her homecooked meals, lovingly prepared with care and seasoned with the affection she held for her family. Gatherings at her table were moments of comfort, nourishment, and heartfelt conversation, creating memories that her loved ones would cherish forever. Devotion to family was the core of Emma’s life. She treasured every moment spent in the company of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, finding pure joy in their laughter and the precious time they shared. Her life was a testament to the quiet strength of faith, the power of unconditional love, and the beauty of a heart devoted to others. In addition to both of her husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Survivors include her daughter, Rhonda Robinson; grandchildren, Amanda Bonilla (Tim Mapp), and April Spradlin; great-grandchildren, Hailey Bonilla (Mary), Kristian Spradlin (Sylvia), Reyna Lucas (Deonte), Wuilmer Bonilla (Kirsten), Brieana Calderon, Joel Bonilla, Isaiah Spradlin, and Emma Mapp; great-great-grandchildren, Izabela Lucas, Elizabeth Lucas, Amara Bonilla, Ryker Spradlin, and Graysen Howard; her adopted daughter, Miranda Rios; and her adopted granddaughter, Jennifer Mayo.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 8, 2026, at Hillcrest Chapel with Pastor Joel Scott officiating. Interment will follow in Sargent Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, from 12:00 noon until the hour of service.
