Ellis Joel Camp, Jr, 61, of Newnan, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2024.

Born April 12, 1963, in Newnan, to the late Ellis Joel Camp, Sr. and LaRealia Lovvorn Camp. He was a member of Sargent Baptist Church. He was a lineman for Coweta-Fayette EMC and later Diverse Power and took great pride in his career. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish, work on his land, and tinker with trucks and tractors.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children, William Cory Camp (Amanda), Joshua Daniel Estep (Ashley), Amanda Nicole Lee (Chris), Waylon Dillard Camp, Justin Hayes, and Charlie Hayes; grandchildren, William Carson Camp, Skylar Marie Estep, Addison Grace Estep, Gunner Cole Estep, Alexis Kate Estep, Zoe Nicole Lee; significant other, Angel Camp; and brothers, John Camp, Bob Camp (Ashly).

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Hillcrest Chapel with Minister Harry White officiating.  Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery . The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home on Saturday.
