Ella June Wells, 82, of Newnan, passed away on May 10, 2026 at Brightmoor Hospice in Griffin.

Born on January 20, 1944, in Miami-Dade, FL, to the late Harry Wells and the late Eveyn Griscom Wells. Ella lived a life marked by kindness, dedication, and a profound love for her family. Family came first for Ella, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. There is nothing she wouldn't do in order to make sure they were loved and taken care of. Throughout her many years, Ella committed herself to the care and nurturing of dogs as a Dog Groomer at Petsmart, where she was known not only for her professional skill but also for her heartfelt passion for fostering and rescuing dogs in need. Ella was a woman of many interests and talents. She found joy in the simple pleasures of gardening, fishing, and boating—activities that brought her peace and connection to nature. These hobbies reflected her gentle spirit and her love of the outdoors, which she cherished deeply.

She is survived by her loving children: Mark Wallace, Cari Amerine, and Chad Wallace; grandchildren, Kayla Wallace, Kelsey Neuner, Ryan Wallace, and Kayci Wallace; 6 great-grandchildren; and sister, Barbara Grosse.

Funeral service will be private.
