Mr. Edward Eugene Sargent, 75, of Peachtree City, died Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Piedmont Fayette Hospital.

Born September 17, 1945, in Asheville, North Carolina, he was a son of the late Robert Sargent and the late Marie Harris Sargent.  Mr. Sargent was a member of Go Church and loved spending time with his family.  He enjoyed music and singing karaoke, fishing, and going to the beach.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Jane Leming, and a brother, Larry Eugene Sargent.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Patricia Sargent; sons, Tony Darrell Sargent of Gainesville, GA, and Michael David Sargent of Peachtree City; daughters, Kristine Denice Morris (Adam) of Williamson, and Amanda Nicole Sargent of Peachtree City; brother, Robert Wayne Sargent of Jonesboro; sisters, Carolyn Thomas of Riverdale, and Pat Carroll of Rockmart; grandchildren, Tony Darrell Sargent, Jr., Dakota Lee Sargent, Cheyenne Alylisa Denise Raynes, Michael David Sargent, Jr., Logan Hunter Sargent, and Gage Joseph Morris; 4 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 16, 2021, in Hillcrest Chapel with Pastor Allan Mathura officiating.  Interment will be private.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, one hour prior to the service.
