Edward Charles Barlow, Sr., 81, of Newnan, passed away peacefully, on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at home, surrounded by loved ones.

Ed was born on January 21, 1944, in Philadelphia, PA to the late Richard Barlow and the late Ida Grant Barlow. He worked as a supervisor for Anchor Glass Container. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and crabbing especially on the Jersey Shore, where he was known as "Crab Man Eddie". He also enjoyed hunting, gardening and football season. After retiring he loved to spend time with family, having cookouts and feeding the deer on his property. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Anne Barlow.

Survivors include children, Deborah Patterson (Johnny), Jennifer Carlisle (Brian) and Edward C. Barlow, Jr. (Maureen); stepchildren, Deborah Turner and David Sica; grandchildren, Allison Sholtz, Ashley Patterson, Alexis Sims, Matthew Rogholt and Shajaia Taylor; 2 step grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 2 step great grandchildren; and brother, Richard Barlow.

It was Mr. Barlow's wish to be cremated, and the family will hold a private memorial service, at a later date.
