Mrs. Doris Virginia Morgan, 95, of Newnan, GA, passed away on Friday, March 24, 2023, at her residence.

Born November 4, 1927, in Franklin, GA, she was a daughter of the late Jeffey Wilson, and the late Katie Sue Hubbard Wilson. Doris was a member of Providence Baptist Church in Carrollton. She was a caregiver, flower enthusiast, wonderful cook, traveler, but more than anything she loved spending time with her family.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Nick Morgan; daughters, Paulette Booker, Carolyn Williams, Suzanne Rawls; and sister, Jean Westbrook.

Survivors include her daughters, Patricia Gates (George) of Auburn, GA, Angela S. Hand (Ray) of Newnan, GA, Gail Michell (Ken) of Wedowee, AL, step-daughters, Dianne Morgan and, Blanche Morgan both of Alpharetta, GA; step-son, Douglas Morgan of Ellijay, GA; 14 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; 22 great-great grandchildren; brother, Roy Wilson (Joan) of Oxford, AL; son-in-law, Jimmy Rawls of Dupont, GA; several nieces, 1 nephew and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 27, 2023, at Hillcrest Chapel, with Pastor Scott Rice officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service on Monday, at the funeral home.
