Donald Gordon Jensen, 81, of Newnan, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 30th, 2024, surrounded by family.

Don (affectionately known as Big D and DG) grew up in Horseheads, New York and went to college in upstate New York. Don could talk to anyone and never met a stranger, which led to a very successful career in business, specifically sales. Don loved to fish, play golf, spend time with family and friends, and cheer on the Auburn University Tigers in football. He was also a member of Unity Baptist Church. Don was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Virginia Jensen.

Don is survived by Sandra Jensen, his wife of 19 years; his daughter, Kelley Scott (husband Anthony Pipitone and daughter Haley); his son, Matthew Jensen (daughters Chloe and Violet); and his stepdaughters, Dee Payton (daughter Casey), and Jennifer Sheldon (daughters Brandy and Summer). Don is also survived by his sisters, Kris Davies, and Sally Brown, and his brother, Dave Porter.

A memorial service to celebrate Don's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 8, 2024, at Unity Baptist Church with Dr. Doug McCart officiating. The family will receive friends at the Church, one hour prior to the service.
