Mr. Donald "Steve" Jacks, 74, of Newnan, died Friday, February 28, 2025, at his residence.

Born March 7, 1950, in Commerce, Georgia, he was a son of the late Donald Bailey Jacks, and the late Annie Ruth Whitehead Jacks. Mr. Jacks enjoyed hunting and fishing and watching NASCAR. Back in the day he supported his favorite driver, Davey Allison. Most of all Steve loved and liked spending time with all his family and especially his great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Patricia Ann Campbell Jacks.

Survivors include his daughter, Tonya Jacks Creel-Dawes; sisters, Dianne Jacks Quinn (Dale), and Debbie Jacks Payne (Sammy); grandchildren, Kyndal Michelle Creel, Karly MaClaire Creel (Chuck), and Kamden Lee Dawes; great-grandchildren, Charlie Grace Dancy, Charles "Carter" Dancy, Kallen Makell Creel, Blakely Ann Jackson, Baylor Shawn Jackson, and Charles Clayton Dancy, Jr.; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will hold a private service at a later date.
