Dolores Martina Davis, 93, of Hogansville, widow of the late Herbert Shelley Davis, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at her residence.
Born on December 3, 1932, in Leoville, Kansas, Dolores was one of ten children born to the late John Boor and Catherine Trometer Boor.
She was a hardworking woman who dedicated her life to her family. Alongside her late husband, Herbert, she helped build the strong foundation of a close and loving family that continues today.
Dolores was a woman of strength, resilience, and generosity. She was always willing to help whenever someone needed her, and her family knew they could count on her. She loved her three daughters deeply and took great pride in her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Her family was the center of her life.
She was a member of St. George Catholic Church and carried her faith with quiet strength throughout her life. Dolores also enjoyed traveling and was always ready for a new adventure.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, David Buckallew, and eight siblings.
She is survived by her daughters, Vernita Graham, JoAnn Murphy, and Shelley Landrum (Charlie); brother, Ralph Boor; grandchildren, Rick Ellenburg (Carol), David Ellenburg (Michelle), Jennifer Williams (Ted), Jacob Pike (Jessica), and Michael Landrum (Khrystalle); great-grandchildren, Athena, Sabrina, Anna, Katherine, Isabella, Gabriella, and one on the way; great-great-grandchildren, Willow and Nolan; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, May 11, 2026, at St. George Catholic Church with Father Stephen Lyness officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Higgins Funeral Home Hillcrest Chapel on Sunday, May 10, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
