Mrs. Della Louise Harvey, 78, of Newnan, passed away, Thursday, December 14, 2023, at Avalon Health and Rehabilitation in Newnan.

Born December 19, 1944, in Atlanta, she was a daughter of the late Paul Holcomb and the late Ruth Warren Holcomb. Della retired as a supervisor with A. G. Rhodes Nursing Home. She was a Christian by faith, attended and raised her children in church.  She loved watching and listening to Jimmy Swaggart services.  She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Jerry Holcomb and David Holcomb.

Survivors include her daughters, Dorothy Harrison (Rocky) and Teresa Waldrop; sons, Bobby Waldrop, Jr., Michael Waldrop and Johnny Waldrop; sisters, Mary Ann Perkins and Allene Holcomb; brothers, Gene Holcomb and David Holcomb; 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, in Hillcrest Chapel with Pastor Terry Calhoun officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 18, 2023, at the funeral home.
