David Alan Hollums, 62, of Newnan, died on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. Born November 24, 1961, in Atlanta, he was a son of the late James Claude Hollums, Jr., and the late Ruth M. Hollums. A member of Macedonia Baptist Church, David's faith was a cornerstone of his life. His involvement in the church community reflected his commitment to service and his desire to contribute positively to the lives of others. David was the proud owner and operator of Prime Fabrications, where his craftsmanship and attention to detail were evident in every project he undertook. His love for the outdoors was no secret. An avid hunter and fisherman, he found solace and joy in the beauty of nature. His adventurous soul was happiest when he was exploring the wilderness, a passion he shared with friends and family alike. Family was the center of David's world. He was a loving figure who cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren, instilling in them the values of kindness and the importance of strong family bonds. Woodworking was another of David's talents. His hands were skilled in the art of creating and fixing, a testament to his belief that the best things in life are those made with care and love. David Alan Hollums will be deeply missed, but his legacy will endure through the lives he touched and the memories he created.
