Mr. David Warren Dean, 86, of Moreland, died Friday, November 27, 2020 at his residence.

Born February 14, 1934 in Montgomery, Alabama, he was a son of the late George Dean and the late Zuma Dendy Dean.  Mr. Dean was of the Catholic Faith and was a veteran of the United States Army.  He worked as a pilot for over 35 years with Capital Airways and Delta Airlines, and later in his career, he served as a flight instructor.  David enjoyed hunting, historic restorations, and genealogy.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Sally Dean; son, Clayton Dean; daughters, Julia Williams, Anna Rebecca Dean, and Christine Burkins; and grandchildren, Miya Jace Dean, Brady Dean, Morgan Elizabeth Williams, Amanda Caroline Williams, Zachary David Burkins, and Ashley Weifenbach.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Hillcrest Chapel.
