David Allen Cecil, 60, of Carrollton, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at his residence, surrounded by his family.

He was born on February 11, 1966, in New Cumberland, WV. He worked for many years as a machine operator for Bonnell Aluminum. He enjoyed working on cars, music, NASCAR and spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Marie L. Cecil; children, Austin Cecil, Ashley Landrum and Courtney Smith; mother, Margaret Wilkins; grandchildren, Abigail Linnenkohl, Susie Linnenkohl, Isabella Smith, Laci Mae Fike and Alexandria Linnenkohl: sister, Melissa Cline; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Hillcrest Chapel with Pastor Terry Calhoun officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
