Mrs. Corene Ann Wood Wallace, 90, of Newnan, died Monday, August 9, 2021, at her residence.

Born March 28, 1931, in Newnan, daughter of the late Viola Webb Wood and the late James E. Wood, Sr. She was a was a member of Oaklawn Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by her son, Kenny Cook and 9 siblings.

Survivors include her daughter, Mary Ann Shelnutt; son, Larry Cook; 6 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and numerous great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the graveside in Oak Hill Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 12, 2021, with Pastor David Arrington officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 11, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
