Cliff Britt Jr. (Junior), 81, of Newnan, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on Thursday, November 20, 2025.

Born September 24, 1944, in McColl, South Carolina, he was a son of the late Cliff Britt, Sr. and the late Ruth Smith Britt. Mr. Britt was a long-time resident of Newnan, and an avid hunter and a third-generation Hunting Dog Trainer. He had served as President of the Chattahoochee River Coon Hunters Association and was well known and respected throughout the South. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his younger brother, Billy Britt, and his granddaughter, Katie Bloom.

Mr. Britt is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Sherrie Britt; sisters, Elsie Roseland (Eric) of Florida, Margaret Britt of Temple, GA, and Crystal Wade of Newnan; sisters-law, DeeRendar Awbrey (Gregg), and Kathryn Tyson, both of Lagrange; his children, Benjamin Britt, Billy Britt, Joseph Britt (Tiffany), Matthew Richardson, Chris Britt Sr., and Sarah Britt; ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 24, 2025, at Hillcrest Chapel. Graveside funeral services will be private.
