Obituary

Mr. Clarence Alfred Baker, 85, of Franklin, died Sunday, July 3, 2022, at Wellstar Atlanta Medical Center.

Born January 14, 1937, in Orrington, Maine, he was a son of the late Forest Baker and the late Beatrice Lamb Baker. Mr. Baker was a member of the Franklin Congregation of Jehovah Witnesses. He worked at numerous different jobs, including building houses and furniture and the owner and operator of a trailer park. He retired from the Coweta County School System after many years as a bus driver. Mr. Baker had many friends in both Georgia and Maine and will be sadly missed by all. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife of fifty years, Carole Baker, and stepson, Scott.

Survivors include his wife of seven years, Norma Baker; son, Daniel Baker (Gina); stepchildren, Brett, Todd, Eric, and Terri; sister, Lucy Thurston; numerous grandchildren; and nephews, Tim, Dick, and John.

According to Mr. Baker's wishes, no services are planned.
