Christopher Lynn Clements, 46, of Newnan, died Monday, November 3, 2025, at his residence.

Born on March 12, 1979, in Clovis, New Mexico, he was a son of Joe Gordon and Twila Clements Gordon. A graduate of MacArthur High School in Irving, Texas, Chris carried the lessons of his youth with him as he ventured into the world. His commitment to service and community was evident through his involvement with the Boy Scouts, an organization that helped shape his character and values. Chris's professional life was a testament to his love for travel and his desire to connect with people. As a senior in-flight crew scheduler for Delta Airlines, he found his calling. Chris loved his job not just for the places it took him, but for the opportunities it provided to help others, ensuring that every flight's crew was prepared and ready to offer passengers a safe and pleasant journey. Chris had an insatiable appetite for travel, reveling in the experience of new cultures and sights. He was particularly drawn to historical architecture and museums, where he could immerse himself in the stories of the past. The beach was another of his sanctuaries, a place where he could relax and let the rhythm of the waves soothe his soul. At home, Chris was often found lost in the intricate worlds he created with Lego sets, a passion he shared with his son, Travis. Together, they would construct elaborate Star Wars scenes, bonding over each tiny brick. Chris's favorite superhero, Superman, was a reflection of his own character—kind, loving, and always striving to do good in the world. Though he often joked about being tough and mean, those who knew Chris saw through his playful facade. His kind and loving nature was unmistakable, and his warmth touched the lives of everyone he met. Chris was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Linda Clements, and Robbie Gordon, grandfather, Joe Gordon, and a sister, Rebecca Gordon.

In addition to his parents, Chris is survived by his son, Travis Clements of Bartlesville, OK; siblings, Margaret McCullar (Kasey) of Grand Prairie, TX, and Joshua Gordon of Maryville, TN; grandfather, Jim Clements;  niece, Haley McCullar; the mother of his son, Sara Clements; his closest friend, Lance Miles; and friend, Kelly Kemski.

The family will hold a private service.
