Ms. Christie Rebecca Turner, 37, of LaGrange, died Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.

Born November 20, 1982 in Newnan, she was a daughter of the late Calvin Keith Turner, Sr., and the late Linda Kay Hodnett Smith.  Christie was of the Baptist Faith and was a homemaker.  She enjoyed the lake and boating and doing crochet.  She loved spending time with her grandson and she loved her cats.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ryan Turner; sister, Amy Turner; and maternal grandmother, Josie Hall.

Survivors include her daughters, Haley Fetner (Clay) of LaGrange, and Kristen Calhoun (Justin Tucker), also of LaGrange; son, Casey Calhoun on Lanett, AL; grandson, Ashton Tucker; dad, Steve Smith of Newnan; brother, Calvin Turner of Lanett; paternal grandmother, Rebecca Mickey of LaGrange; maternal grandfather, Bobby Hall of Opelika, AL; maternal grandparents, Jimmie & Mel Hodnett of Newnan; nephews, Steven Turner and Dylan Turner; her significant other, Andrew Harrison; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family members.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 8, 2020 in Hillcrest Chapel.  Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:00 noon until the hour of service.
