Cheryl Juanita Beckom, 77, of Newnan, passed away Monday, March 7, 2022.

Born February 15, 1945, in Troup County, to the late Bill Watson and the late Gladys Nichols Watson. She was a member of Unity Baptist Church. Cheryl enjoyed cooking and most of all spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Larry Beckom; children, Chuck Thompson (Vycki), Scott Thompson (Anita), Angie Beckom, and Alan Beckom (Carolyn); grandchildren, Lindsay Warren (Ryan), Ashley Thompson, Justin Thompson, Corey Thompson, Cy Thompson, Reagan Yeager, A. J. Beckom, L. T. Beckom (Whitney) and Nickole Beckom;13 great grandchildren, Isla Warren, Whitley Warren, Hunter Beckom, Ansley Beckom, Jayden Beckom, Christian Beckom and Lilian Beckom.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, March 11, 2022, at Unity Baptist Church with Dr. Doug McCart officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour at the church.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Unity Baptist Church Building Fund at 311 Smokey Road Newnan, GA 30263 in memory of Cheryl.
