Carlos Roberto Campos, 65, of Newnan, passed away on Monday, August 24, 2026, at his residence.

Born November 21, 1960, in Brazil, he was one of ten children born to the late Paulo Calixto Campos and the late Maria Jandira Campos. Carlos will be remembered as a hard worker and a devoted provider, a man who built his life around responsibility, dedication, and love for those closest to him. He owned and operated his own construction company, and that work reflected the strength, determination, and steady commitment that shaped his life. Beyond his work, Carlos was a family man at heart. He loved his family deeply and found special joy in his grandchildren, whose presence brought warmth and meaning to his days. The love he gave so freely will remain a lasting part of his legacy. Carlos also carried with him a spirited love for soccer. He was a huge fan of the game and faithfully followed his favorite team, Atletico Mineiro, a passion that surely brought him excitement, pride, and many memorable moments over the years.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Maria Campos; children, Samuel Calebe Campos (Michelle), and Maressa Maldonado; brothers, Paulo Campos, and Dado Campos; sisters, Maria de Lourdes, Flavia Campos, Tania Campos, Margarida Campos, Maria de Fatima, Gaia Campos, and Claudia Campos; grandchildren, Calebe Campos, Nathaniel Maldonado, Fernando Campos, Carlos Campos, and Amelia Malldonado.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Hillcrest Chapel with Pastor Ilmar Pereira officiating. Interment will follow in Luthersville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, one hour prior to the service.
