Obituary

Carl Blair Pritchett, III, known affectionately as Blair to his friends and family, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2025, at the age of 63 in Griffin, Georgia.

Born on May 30, 1961, in Albany, Georgia, he was a son of the late Carl Blair Pritchett, Jr., and the late Anna Marie White Pritchett. Blair's life was marked by his unwavering faith, his generosity, and the love he shared with those around him. Blair's professional journey was as diverse as it was successful. He was the respected former owner and operator of Pritchett Ford in Albany, where his leadership and vision were instrumental in the dealership's growth and reputation for excellence. Following his passion for finance, Blair later transitioned into a role as an Investment Advisor with Ameriprise Financial, where he provided sage advice and built lasting relationships with his clients. Beyond his professional endeavors, Blair dedicated himself to serving others. His commitment to community was evident through his active involvement on the Board of Directors of Heart-Bound Ministries, where he contributed his time and resources to make a difference in the lives of those in need. A man of deep faith, Blair was a cherished member of Calvary Chapel Church. His spiritual leadership extended to his role as a Bible Study Fellowship Group Leader, where he guided discussions with insight and compassion, fostering a welcoming environment for spiritual growth. Blair's interests outside of work and church were filled with the simple joys of life. He was an avid golfer, finding solace and challenge on the greens. Water skiing was another of Blair's passions, a testament to his love for the outdoors and his adventurous spirit. Those who knew Blair will remember him as a faith-filled individual whose generosity knew no bounds. He approached life with a loving heart, always ready to support a friend or lend a helping hand. Blair's legacy is one of kindness, dedication, and a life lived in service to others.
