Mrs. Cammie Mae Porterfield, 91, of Newnan, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2022, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.

Born October 18, 1930, in Gwinnett County, to the late Newt Stephens and the late Fannie Mae Neese. She was an avid gardener and loved to talk about flowers with anyone who would listen. She was also preceded in death by her 1st husband, Fred Waldrip; 2nd husband, Sam Porterfield; and daughter, Shirley Skinner.

Survivors include her daughters, Martha Kelley and Marie Leverette; sons, Jerry Waldrip (Debbie), Ray Waldrip and Jimmy Waldrip (Pattie); and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 7, 2022, at Hillcrest Chapel with Pastor Terry Calhoun officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour on Thursday at the funeral home.
