Mr. Calvin Richard Stottlar, 71, of Newnan, passed away, Sunday, July 10, 2023, at Sacred Journey Hospice in Newnan.

He was born on November 22, 1951, in Peekskill, NY. Calvin owned and operated the SportsDome, for 30 years in Newnan. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, was a talented musician, and in his younger years, an avid bowler. He was preceded in death by his father, Calvin Jerome Stottlar.

Survivors include his wife, Kathryn Stottlar of Newnan; sons, Nicholas Stottlar of Newnan, Jonathan Stottlar (Amanda) of Newnan, Rickey Smith (Jennifer) of Albertville, AL, and Chris Jordan (Shamekia) of Newnan; mother, Naomi Bush of Inverness, FL; 12 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and sister, Denise Pixler of Hudson, FL.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at Hillcrest Chapel with Pastor Roger Robinson officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations are made to Sacred Journey Hospice 60 Oak Hill Blvd., Newnan, GA 30265 in memory of Mr. Calvin Richard Stottlar.
