Brenda C. Patterson, 68, of Newnan, died Friday, October 23, 2020 at her residence.

Born October 28, 1951 in Carrollton, she was a daughter of the late Christine Rigsby and the late Ray Rigsby.  Brenda retired from Bibb manufacturing company, where she worked in quality control. She was a member of Welcome Road Baptist Church and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Roy T. Patterson; son, Timothy R. "Tim" Patterson, and sister, Wanda White.

Survivors include her daughter, Michelle Hendrix (Daniel Mosley) of Newnan; sons, Michael Patterson (Kimberly Powell), and Tracy Patterson (Katie), both of Newnan; grandchildren, Nicole Buster (Rodney), Jessica Patterson, Tiffany Patterson (Austin Cook), Brooke Crawford, Haylie Powell, Thomas Beckom, Jr., Jimmy Hendrix, Jacob Brown, and Hunter Powell; great-grandchildren, Cadence Buster, Colton Buster and Joyner Cook; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 26, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at Welcome Road Baptist Church with Pastor Dan Odom officiating.  Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 25, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Chapel.  Brenda will lie in state at the church on Monday from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of service.
