Mr. Bobby Joe Wilson, 64, of Newnan, died Friday, December 25, 2020 at Brightmoor Hospice in Griffin.

Born December 26, 1955 in Newnan, he was a son of the late Bobby Lee Wilson and the late Reba Wilson.  Mr. Wilson was of the Baptist Faith and worked for many years as a store manager for Winn Dixie.  He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting and was known to many as a fishing guide and for giving the fishing report on the radio.

Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Elaine Freeman Wilson; brother, David Wilson of Hogansville; sister Dorothy Holcombe, also of Hogansville; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members.

Out of concern for our family and friends due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, the Funeral Service will be held at the graveside at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 29, 2020, in Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Pastor Bryan Calhoun officiating.
