Mr. Bobby E. Emory, 76, of Newnan, died on Monday, November 30, 2020 at Emory University Hospital Midtown in Atlanta.

Bobby was born on December 14, 1943 in Newnan, son of the late Willie Emory and the late Ida Lou Hopson Emory. He was a veteran of the US Army and retired in 2014 as a Deputy from the Coweta County Sheriff's Department. He was also preceded in death by his son, Michael Adam Emory; sisters, Ellen Shelton, Imogene Gore, Kate Shoemake and Zelma Clarke; and brother, Willie Bruce Emory.

Survivors include his son, Wayne Emory; 4 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; sisters, Faye Hendley, Shirley Jett and Linda Selmer; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Chapel with Pastor Bryan Calhoun and Pastor Carl Calhoun officiating. Interment will follow in Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Saturday, December 5, 2020 from 1:30 p.m. until the service hour at the funeral home.
