Mr. Bobby Gene Brown, 68, of Newnan, died Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at his residence.

Born May 27, 1952 in Newnan, he was a son of the late Paul Gene Brown and the late Frances Bernice Reese Brown.  Mr. Brown was a member of East Newnan Baptist Church and was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp, serving in Vietnam.  Mr. Brown was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who loved riding his motorcycle, traveling and watching NASCAR.

Survivors include his wife of over 39 years, Dana R. Brown; daughters, Rita Brown of Newnan, Brandey Jones (Michael) of Luthersville, Elizabeth Brown, also of Luthersville, and Rachel Ray (Bradley) of Sharpsburg; and grandchildren, Jonathan Andrew Brown, Abigale Jones, and one on the way, Connor Lee Gene Ray.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 20, 2021 in Hillcrest Chapel with Pastor T. J. Boyd officiating.  Interment will follow in Ramah Baptist Church Cemetery in Palmetto.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home, one hour prior to the service.
