Ms. Beverly Jean Buchanan McLean, 68, of Newnan, passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital, surrounded by her family and friends.

Born January 19, 1956, in Newnan, she was a daughter of the late Hubert Buchanan and the late Mary Gann Buchanan. Beverly was a sweet, kindhearted lady that would do anything for anyone. She was a hairdresser for most of her life until her health got so bad, she had to stop and take time for herself. If anybody needed a haircut but had no money, she would still cut their hair. Some would come back and pay, and some would not, but she never got upset with the ones that didn't. She loved all of her family and friends very much. If you knew her, you loved her, and she will be missed for ever and ever. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Wayne Buchanan.

Survivors include her son, Emory Scott Rogers; a grandson, Mason Rogers; sisters, Carolyn Baker, and Jane Hunter; and four precious friends, Roxanne Ford Griswold (who is also a cousin), Shelby Tankersley, Margaret Rainwater, and Cindy Moore Powell, who were all very dear friends of Beverly and the family.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
