Mrs. Betty Attaway Davis, 89, of Newnan, died Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at Christian City Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Union City.

Born November 8, 1930 in Newnan, she was a daughter of the late Ralph Attaway and the late Rose Breed Attaway.  Mrs. Davis attended Sunnyside Baptist Church and was a homemaker.  In her later years she earned an LPN Degree from West Georgia Technical College.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Stephen Beck.

Survivors include her sons, Bennie C. Davis, Jr. (Kate) of Newnan, Stacy Davis (Holly) of Roanoke, AL, and Clay Davis of Newnan; daughters, Donna Rotruck (Mark) of Alpharetta, and Lisa Beck (Paul) of Kennesaw; sister, Sue Ellen Hammond; and ten grandchildren.

With concern for the safety and health of our family and friends, a Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Davis will be held at future date, after the current pandemic subsides.

The family requests that those who wish, make a donation to the charity of their choice, in memory of Mrs. Davis.
