Mrs. Barbara Jean Tweedell, 62, of Newnan, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2020.

Barbara was born October 20, 1957, in Atlanta, to the late William Murray Gordon and the late Willie Maude Lewis Gordon. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Jimmy Gordon and Wayne Gordon.

Survivors include her daughters, Shellie Benge (Jason) and Kellie Garcia (Larry); son, Christopher Tweedell (Cathy); grandchildren, Devin Banks and Corbin Tweedell sister, Debbie Caldwell (Emmett); brothers, Ronald Gordon, Donald Gordon, Danny Gordon and Tommy Gordon.

Funeral Services will be held at the graveside on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Pastor David Jonassen officiating.  The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 6, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Hillcrest Chapel.  All Social Distancing protocols will be observed at both the funeral and the visitation, and the number of people inside the funeral home will be regulated.
