Barbara Ann
(Schick) Reilly
January 19, 1937 – April 26, 2025
Barbara Ann Reilly, age 88, passed away peacefully at her home in Newnan, Georgia, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born on January 19th, 1937, in Brooklyn, New York, to Alice and Frank Schick, Barbara lived a full life marked by love, laughter, and a deep devotion to her daughters. She had a fulfilling career as an Office Manager at B&H Signs in Monrovia, California, where her strong work ethic and uniquepersonality left a lasting impact on her colleagues.
Barbara is a strong, spirited woman with a no-nonsense attitude, deeply rooted in her Brooklyn upbringing. She may have left Brooklyn, but Brooklyn never left her. She's not afraid to speak her mind and brings a sharp wit and street-smart perspective to every conversation. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Barbara's hobbies included bowling, painting, shopping and collecting rocks. She never passed up the chance to enjoy a good TV show with a glass of Chianti or a chocolate martini in hand. Her beloved dogs were constant companions and brought her immense happiness.
She is survived by her devoted daughter, Alice Reilly, and son-in-law, Robert "David" McConnell. She leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Michael (Carly) Northart, Heather (Ben) Mazzucco, Zack (Jamie) Warren, and Robert David (Holly) McConnell Jr., as well as her adored great-grandchildren: Madison, Colby, and Lillian Northart, and Cooper and Layla Mazzucco. Barbara is now resting peacefully in heaven with her daughter, Denice McConnell.
A private family service will be held to honor her memory.
