Barbara Jo (Babs) Colbert, 70, of Newnan, passed peacefully on Thursday, January 22, 2026, in Newnan.

Babs was born to the late Mr. Alvin Leroy Harry and Mrs. Edna Deloris Harry on April 18, 1955, in Staten Island, NY. As the oldest of four Babs was strong-willed, hardworking, reliable and most importantly passionate about the ones she loved. She loved to read and go on road trips with her sisters as long as it was to the casino.  She will be missed immensely here on earth.

She is survived by her four children, who without a doubt loved their mother unconditionally, David (Jennifer), Missy, Matthew (Lindsey) and Angela (Jacob); grandchildren, Micheal (Melissa), Ally, Sydney, Tyler, Kyleigh (Brendan), Tanner, and Zoey;  two wonderful sisters, who were also her best friends, Toni and Wendy; brother, Donny; along with a slew of nieces and nephews.

Barbara wishes were to cremated and no services to be held.

In lieu of flowers her family would love for donations to go to the National Kidney Foundation .
