Mr. Arnold Bennett Belgrave, 79, died, on Monday, August 17, 2020 in Newnan.

Arnold was a police officer in Guyana Police Force Special Branch. He served in the force for three years. He was also a self-employed businessman and owned a private shipping company. He was interested in politics in his native country Guyana and he enjoyed debating Guyana's political system with his friends. Arnold was an individual who cared about people and their wellbeing and he enjoyed helping them in any way he could.

Survivors include his biological daughters, Lorline Mendoza, Amanda Belgrave, Shereen Bourke; step-children, Faye Puliah, Dennis Puliah, Vanessa Puliah; brothers, Walter, Cyril, Dennis, Montgomery, Leonard, Clive (Belgrave); sisters, Wilma Belgrave, Doreen Wyles, Millicent Brathwate, Vera Baird, and Rowena Rodrigues; grandchildren, Shervin Belgrave, Sherwin Belgrave, Eric & Elijah Campbell; and great-grandchildren, Shonette, Leila, and Akeela.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2020 in Hillcrest Chapel.  Interment will be held at a later date in Maple Grove Cemetery in Kew Gardens, NY.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Saturday.
