Alice McLoughlin Thomas, 66, of Newnan, widow of the late Jack Nolan Thomas, died Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at her residence.

Born May 29, 1956, in Bronx, New York, she was the daughter of the late John McLoughlin and the late Mary Jack McLoughlin. Alice was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and was retired following 30 years as a Registered Nurse. Alice was a long-time Sunday School teacher and Girl Scout leader who found delight in teaching children. She had a servant's heart and loved helping others. Alice deeply loved her family and found joy in spending time with her siblings, children, and grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughters and stepdaughters Jenifer Wilford, Lara Carswell, Traci Lowry, Nici Snyder, Kelly Bazarte; her siblings Mary Langguth, Joseph McLoughlin, Michael McLoughlin, Patricia Ebersole, and Margaret Bell; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at Faith Lutheran Church in Sharpsburg, GA with Pastor Jon Schroeder officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at Hillcrest Chapel in Newnan, GA.
